I'm grinning from ear to ear as I write this post. We have a new little member of our family, Michael Payton. Payton is my first cousin, Scott's, son. He came into the world Monday, January 26th, 2009 @ 5:01 am. I've been calling him our little 5lb bag of sugar because he literally weighs 5lbs 1oz. I can't even begin to express the joy and love of this new precious life among my family. We are in awe that God would choose to give us this little blessing. :) Thank you Father! Welcome to the world little Payton. You captured my heart the first time I laid my eyes on you. You've got a wonderful big sister, Madison. She wasn't too sure about you at first...but holding you has changed that. She's decided she's keeping you for good :)
Speaking of January 26th...my daddy and my little sister's birthday was also that day. My precious daddy turned 46 and Britta turned 14. AHHH....she's growing up WAAAAAY too fast. It seems like yesterday I was a first grader checking out of school to go see her at the hospital. She is so wonderful, and I love her so much! So, long story short...January 26th is a SPECIAL day in the McGee family :) We are so blessed. Not to mention...it's one of my dearest, best friend's Jacob's birthday. :)
January is almost gone. My word, time does fly by. School is going good, however, I can't wait for State!! Living with Whit again, YES!! :) love you whit!
