What a WONDERFUL, BUSY, EXTREMELY EXCITING year for me!!! :)
January: Started student teaching at the elementary school. Payton got his very 1st haircut. It came a blizzard..okay, maybe that was an exaggeration, but we did get out of school almost a week ;) Celebrated Daddy, Britt, & Payton's birthday. Rang in the New Year in Florida at the Gator Bowl with Cory & Cassie.
February: Celebrated Mama's birthday. Applied for MS STATE Graduation stuff. Valentine's Day.
March:Spring Break. Went to Destin, FL for Wes & Holly's wedding. Switched student teaching placement, went to high school. Mama broke knee cap into. Mamaw Margie broke hip. (Thank you Lord for bringing us through!!)
April: Celebrated 2 years of being completely in love with my Paul. GRADUATED from MISSISSIPPI STATE UNIVERSITY. Flew a kite with Payton, Paul, & Britt. Smithville, MS was destroyed by a tornado.
May: Mama & Daddy were honored for their 20 years @ Thaxton. Troy 'retired' from ICC BSU. Mother's Day. MAY 24th--PAUL AND I GOT ENGAGED!!!! :) Get together. Stared at my ring. Celebrated a wedding weekend with TAHOE friends!!
June: Swam. Father's Day. I turned 23. Wedding Plans really got underway.
July: More swimming. Mission trip with college class to Big Pine Key, FL. Got to pet a dolphin. Celebrated Mamaw Margie's 75th birthday. VBS :)
August/September: Started my new BIG GIRL job, teaching 5th grade. Got my first paycheck. Work on our house. My 1st wedding shower.
October: Had my final wedding dress fitting. More showers. Sweet baby Camden was born. Celebrated Madison & Katilyn's birthdays. Spirit Week. Red ribbon week. Worked on house.
November: More showers. Married my best friend in the whole wide world on November 19!!! :) Spent a beautiful week in Jamaica with Paul. Moved majority of my stuff to our new house. Moved in with my husband :)
December: Celebrated my precious Beezie's 98th birthday. Two of our friends got engaged, Matt & Anna...and we had a hand in getting them together! Paul's birthday. Christmas parties. Celebrated my first Christmas as a Hendrix. :) 1st Christmas tree. Got my driver's license name changed. Spent time with family and friends. Ate way too much. Enjoyed every second of Christmas break. Soaked up every day spent with my sweet husband. (Have I mentioned that I LOOOOVE being married?!!)
What a beautiful year for Paul and I.
Paul and I are blessed beyond anything we could ever deserve. We have two amazing, supportive families, a wonderful church, a roof over our heads, food to eat, two cars to drive, more wedding gifts than we could ever say thank you enough for...we are just overwhelmly blessed. Thank you God for a wonderful year. May we bring honor and glory to your Holy name in 2012.
