thank you.


Thank you all so very much for your sweet prayers for my Mamaw.
She's at home, and she's doing wonderful.

Long story short, she had a pacemaker put in.
She was having long pauses in between heart beats.
(Hers was 6 seconds whereas ours is 3 seconds)
Doctor says this will correct the problem.

Praise the Lord!

I'm so thankful that we got her on over to the hospital.
The Good Lord was just watching out for her.

So, once again. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
And my Mamaw's too.
She said in the hospital...

"It's the most overwheming, precious thought to know that people are praying for me."

I'll tell you one thing. I hope I'm half the woman she is. I'm surround by so many great role models, and for that I'm blessed.


Here are a few pictures of my little smush! He's growing like a little weed. He is the funniest little guy. He never lacks attention, I can assure you.




Madison is starting middle school this August. Seems like yesterday she was born. My, how time does fly.


My little sister Brit will be a sophomore. I can hardly believe it...she's growing into such a beautiful young lady.

prayer.

Please join me in praying for my sweet Mamaw Mabel. (My daddy's mama)
I took her to the hospital in Oxford yesterday afternoon with an "irregular heartbeat."
We are waiting on the doctor to make his rounds before we know more.
Her blood pressure has also been very low. In her case this isn't so good because she has high blood pressure.

So, please send up a prayer for her.
She's the sweetest lady in the world.
When she was admitted yesterday afternoon to the hospital...Do you know what she was most concerned about??

Keeping the nursery at church Sunday night. It was her night, and she didn't want to let anyone down.



That's my Mamaw. Always putting others above herself.
Anytime you think of her today please pray.

Thank you sweet friends.

Lord, you know her inside and out...she's your precious child. Please touch her heart and body. Make her better. You be glorified.


ps: I had a dream that I met Kelly from Kelly's Korner. Annnnd I got to meet her sweet Harper. We took pictures and everything. It was so fun. I don't remember all the details. I checked my camera just to make sure this morning. It was only a dream. Ahh well, maybe one day :)

These ladies are precious, near, & dear to my heart. Always have been, always will be. Seems like yesterday we were starting our first day of kindergarten together. Look at where we are now. :) I can't wait to see where God will take us.

We celebrated her big day by eating supper @ Cracker Barrel (her favorite).

She has been such a sweet influence in my life. From Seasame Street to College, she's been there supporting me every step of my journey. I am so thankful for this amazing lady. I'm proud to call her my Mamaw.

just happy.

We had our VBS commencement service yesterday afternoon.
All the kids were adorable singing their little songs.
My little 4 & 5 year olds did such a good job.
Made me proud, but I know the Lord was beaming.

They were such a blessing this week.
They kept me on my toes, that's for sure! :)
We had 31 enrolled with an average of 28 every night.

We studied about Paul on the last night. I had to explain in detail that my Paul was NOT the Paul from the Bible! haha, it was too funny!


I couldn't have made it this week without my mama. She helped out tremendously. Love her so much!!


We all had a really fun week @ VBS!


ANNNNDDD.....I have officially passed ALL my Praxis tests to teach!! Checked my scores today. I am so excited!! It's such a relief. Now, I just need that pretty diploma from MS State in May! :)

New!!!

This will be short and sweet.
We just got a new air conditioning unit.

I AM BEYOND EXCITED, THANKFUL, ETC...
Thank the good Lord for air!!

Now, I shall bask in the cool air and study my VBS lesson for my little kiddos.
We had 30 (4&5 yr old) kids last night. They are ohhh SOOO adorable, cute, funny, etc. We have our hands full, I won't lie...but they have been such a blessing.

If you read this by any chance before, during, or even after 6:00-8:30 pm(it's through Friday) say a prayer for all our VBS teachers and kids.

Happy 4th of July.

We had a wonderful church service this morning!

Several men and women spoke about what freedom means to them. Some talked about our precious flag, others talked about past wars experiences. Many of those war experiences brought back some terrible, horrible memories. I am so humbled and thankful for the men and women who have served and our presently serving for our country. I'm also thankful for their precious families who wait patiently for their return home.

"Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn't pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same."---Ronald Reagan

Freedom is not free.

As Americans, may we never forget those 4 words. Men and women have shed their precious blood so that we may have the liberty and freedom that we have today.

Christ paid the ULTIMATE price so that we may have eternal life.

No AC.

Well our faithful air conditioner of over 17 years bit the dust today.
Annnd, let me tell you...It's HOT @ my house. We're in the process of getting a new one.

Man, I'm so thankful for AC!!

My summer has been great so far. My summer class is OVER!! WHOOO!!! :)
And I had a wonderful birthday thanks to my family, Paul's family, and my sweet friends.
We have VBS this upcoming week @ church, and we're (Mama, Paul, & I) teaching the 4 & 5 year olds. We finished decorating our room today. I always loove VBS!
